DOG WALKING

Hour Group Walks

  • Dogs are walked in a group of up to 6 other friendly dogs for one hour (maximum of 3 dogs per walker), during which they will enjoy plenty of sniffing, playing and socialising! Dogs can run off lead with your signed permission, however, if your dog's recall is a little inconsistent we will keep him/her on a lead, until we are happy a good recall is established. We never take on more than we can physically manage, as it is important to us that we can keep all the dogs under control, including when on a lead, if we needed to.

Shorter Walks

  • Shorter walks can be provided for young puppies, injured or elderly dogs. Please note that we don't like to accept puppies under 10 months on to our group walks, as they are energetic walks and it is important not to over exercise a puppy whilst its bones are still growing fast.

  • We are supporters of the Yellow Dog campaign, so if your dog 'needs space' for any reason, we can work with him/her and continue any training your dog is undergoing, to ensure they are as happy and calm as possible on walks.

Prior to all services, arrangements are made for us to come and meet you and your pets, to discuss your individual requirements and ensure your pets are well acquainted with us. You will be asked to fill out an information sheet and sign a disclaimer. Please scroll to the bottom of the page to see the areas covered and check our availability page.

TRAVEL

Your dog's safety whilst travelling is important to us. A popular choice for many dog walkers is to use a crated van to transport the dogs, some of which also choose to use the van as additional means of advertising. However, with a rise in dognapping in recent years, we prefer to remain as anonymous as possible and drive regular 4x4/estate type vehicles. As we only take a maximum of 6 dogs, this means the car has space for 4 dogs (size dependent) in the boot behind a fixed dog guard, and 2 dogs can travel suitably restrained on the back seats. A lot of dogs can feel anxious whilst travelling, so we feel that the dogs are much better off being in closer proximity to us, smelling the fresh air and watching the world go by through the windows!

PET VISITS

Pet visits can be anything from cat visits to hutch cleaning, or even fish feeding! If you are going away for any period of time, you can rest easy leaving your small furries behind. Visits can be done once or twice a day to feed, clean and fuss your pets. You will receive text message updates and pictures for peace of mind whilst you are away. Visits can also include minor house duties, i.e. Picking up post, opening and closing curtains, or watering plants as required.

PUPPY VISITS

Getting a new puppy is very exciting, but it can be sometimes be difficult juggling work and other commitments when they are still so young and developing fast. It's important to break up any dog's day, but especially puppies as they need that extra care and attention in their early stages. This is to help prevent boredom, stress and anxiety, but of course to give them regular toilet breaks too whilst they are being house trained. We will play with your puppy, cuddle them, clean up any mess and help continue any basic training you are already providing. Puppy visits can be carried out until he or she is old enough to join our group walks.
